Summer Sundays are upon us! As you travel, visit, recreate, and go on missions, may God go with you. Let us all remember to go with God!

This is a pivotal Sunday for us at Levy church. We switch to a summer mindset with summer activities. June 2 launches the Summer Quarter of Classes. This means Promotion Sunday in the children’s area. In our adult class offerings look for treasures old and new.

Sunday 9 A.M. Adult Classes: There is an Auditorium Class, The Young Professionals (1001), A Purpose Driven Class for Singles (2002), for The Ladies, Journaling through Philippians, led by Brenda Davis (2003), and the studies led by Doug Hurst (2001), Gray Dillard (2004), Wilkerson/Arnold (2005), and Philip Sherrill (2006). Some classes will be utilizing the book Generous Justice: How God’s Grace Makes Us Just by Timothy Keller.

New on Sundays are an eight week study of the video series Story of Redemption. Brad Watson and Tom Kloske will lead this discussion arranged especially for seekers, new Christians, and people who would like experience with a simple method for sharing God’s story of redemption with friends. This meeting is in the Upper Room. Also, on The Bridge, Learon Dalby is heading up a new College Class. If you are college age and with Levy year round, or just home for the summer, this class is for you.

Wednesdays: 7 P.M.: We welcome our Summer Series in the auditorium with various speakers each week. The traditional kick off speaker Garry Neal will begin a study of the one another passages with the lesson, “Be Devoted to One Another.” Of course, the singing class will continue in room 2006. There will be an alternative class in the Upper Room. This gathering will provide instruction in and resources for beginning or enhancing your personal or family devotional life. It is for all adults interested in Take It Home Devotionals. Four times throughout the summer, this class will be visited by various age groups of children to help them engage in home devotionals, too.

Also, the College Class will have a Wednesday gathering, same place as Sunday, with Brad Hardin.
