FEB 1-2,2019 – This very special event will be hosted by Owen and Lauren Mitchell in Upper Room – The ReConnect Weekend is a laugh and learn mini-retreat and workshop designed to give couples a chance to take time out and enjoy their marriage. By focusing on the spiritual, emotional, and physical aspects of their relationship, couples will enhance their commitment, improve their communication, and re-energize their marriage.
Emphasizing transformative principles, the weekend is a combination of lecture, short videos, small -group activity, and individual couple activity. The information and interaction are positive and substantive, encouraging couples with a new vision and giving them tools to make their relationships the best they can be.
About the Mitchells:
Working with Marriage Dynamics Institute in Franklin, TN, Owen and Lauren Mitchell have been privileged to invest in hundreds of married couples all over the country since 1998 and love what they do. They know everyone has a story so they teach, equip, support, and encourage couples with information, skills, and tools to make their story the best it can be.
Owen works as a Property Manager and has 25 years’ previous experience in retail management. A 1979 graduate of Tennessee’s Freed Hardeman University, he is a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame. After 20 years as an executive administrative assistant, Lauren has volunteered since 2006 as a peer advocate at a Pregnancy Help Center and loves to teach the Bible. They combine travel and hiking every chance they get.
The Mitchells have lived, worked and raised their family in Eustis, Florida, are parents to two married children, and love being “O and Gigi” to two fun, active, sweet, smart and loud grandsons.
