MEET AND GREET FOR CECIL – We will be having a reception/meet and greet for Cecil May III and wife Patti after morning worship THIS SUNDAY in the new lobby with very light refreshments. Please plan to say hello to our newest staff member and make him feel welcome!
OCTOBER 5-7 – You are invited to join several other Levy campers at Wooly Hollow State Park outside of Greenbrier for a weekend of fun and fellowship. If you are not able to camp, please consider joining the group for the evening meal or enjoying the activities at Wooly Hollow on Saturday. Reservations for 11 campsites have been made for the weekend. The cost for the weekend is $70. Please contact Joy Huff or Michelle Noel to reserve your spot for the weekend.
OCTOBER 13 – Levy will be hosting Mission Resource Network’s Missionary Care Workshop on Saturday, October 13th, from 9 a.m. until noon. Lunch will be provided for those that attend! This is a GREAT opportunity to learn ways to support and encourage our missionaries. Please come and learn with us! If you are interested in attending, please contact Sherry Pogue or Elizabeth Young. We will need a “head count” for lunch.
OCTOBER 15 – Soup and Sisters Crafting with Sherry Ratliff is at 6:30 in the Upper Room. Come enjoy great food and fellowship with other Levy sisters. LYG and Children’s Ministry
• Bake ‘N Serve is October 11 from 4-7 in the Ministry Center.
• Girls’ Bible Study has started on Wednesdays at Starbucks on JFK/McCain. It is from 6:15-7:15 a.m. It will go for about 6 weeks.
Scholarship help needed – We had a great session at Camp Chará this past summer! We had a lot of kids & teens go and experience this powerful week! We need to raise 25 scholarships for campers who went. The cost of camp was $215, any amount you can donate will help! Thanks!
