Ladies Bible Class – We will begin classes this Tuesday morning, September 4 at 9:30 a.m. in the Upper Room. We will continue our tradition of having a brunch; passing out books; and introducing our study. We welcome all ladies who can attend at that time. 4th Annual GENESIS Campus Ministry Golf Tournament – Friday, September 21 8 a.m. – This charity event is a time of fellowship and fun to raise awareness and funds for Genesis Campus Ministry at UALR. Each team’s entry fee goes directly to the work being done at Genesis in the effort to fulfill the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations in our own backyard! In our two short years we have been blessed with students from over 25 countries, including our own. Our mission at Genesis is to see people transformed by grace through Christ. For more information, please pick up a brochure in one of the foyers.
FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY – The preview class is tonight at 7. We are in the Upper Room. Coffee and dessert will be served. Class starts September 5th at 6:15-7:45 (dinner served) and ends November 7th. Free Child care is provided. The cost for the class is $90 (to buy the kit) per couple or single. LYG and Children’s Ministry
• No CORE Sunday night
• We are leaving for Refresh this Friday at 6:30 p.m. from Levy. Eat dinner before you come. We will be back Monday morning around 10 a.m.
• Money for Refresh is due NOW. Cost is $80
• SEPTEMBER 4 – YAK is 5-7:30 p.m. in the ministry center.
• This Sunday – 5th – 6th grade boys swim party – We will meet in the ministry center (gym) to leave right after worship. We will take a bus to the house and arrive back at the ministry center at 2:45 p.m. for pick up. Lunch (pizza) will be provided for them.
• Pick up your Backpack buddy envelopes at the WELCOME desk.
