Resolve to be Involved

We conclude our yearlong study based on texts out of our daily Bible reading program with a focus on Nehemiah. The example of resolve demonstrated during the rebuilding of the city walls of Jerusalem during his lifetime stands as an encouragement to us—to resolve as they did to get involved in kingdom work.

Haggai is the first of the post-exilic prophets. His name means “my feast” which likely means that he was born on or near a prominent Jewish festival.
